Little Chefs

What is Little Chefs?

Little Chefs teaches children that cooking can be creative, full of discovery, and a whole lot of fun! Imaginations are free to run wild as kids discover how they can give back to their community by using cooking skills gained from this course and at the same time learn about international cuisines.

Little Chefs

Why?

Our hope is to empower kids in a safe environment; blending their cooking skills with independence while creating memories and showing that service can be fun! Our bi-weekly themed classes are a fun way for kids to learn about different parts of the world from experts in the Oklahoma culinary industry, while honing their cooking skills. Students will also be taught the proper way to use knives, how to have a safe and sanitary kitchen and the proper cooking temperatures for food safety. While some of the information is technical, it will be presented in a way that is both fun and engaging.

Who?

We are currently accepting children 9-11 years old. Each session will only consist of 12 students to ensure that each person is able to have a real hands on experience.

What will I cook?

This year’s Little Chef’s program is centered around the continent of Asia. The students will make a vast array of dishes  and be able to showcase a full course meal by the time the course is complete.
