Volunteers

Volunteers are the heart of Edmond Mobile Meals. They are the eyes and ears of our program. Because of these extraordinary people, the homebound of our community experience a hot nutritious meal, the kindness of someone who listens and a quick visit with a neighbor who cares.

Volunteer Opportunities

  1. Meal Delivery
    • Drive 1 ½ hours, one or more days a month
    • Pick up meals and a route sheet 10:45 to 11:00 a.m. at 25 W. 3rd Street
    • Deliver 12-16 meals and smiles in the Edmond area
  2. Food Preparation and Packaging
    • Help a team prepare and package meals
    • Volunteer 1 to 3 hours, one or more times a month
    • Work mornings or afternoons
  3. Other Volunteer Opportunities
    • Office work
    • Cleaning and maintenance
    • Grant research and writing
    • Fundraising
    • Publicity, including photography
