Meet our new board members!
Edmond Mobile Meals would like to welcome new Board Members Cassidhe Walker, Omar Zantout and Maggie Murdock-Nichols. Cassidhe, Omar and Maggie will begin their first term in January. Here’s a little bit about them:
Cassidhe Walker is the coordinator of adaptive sports and events at the University of Central Oklahoma and has worked in this role for five years. In this role, her primary job function is event director of the UCO Endeavor Games—a multi-sport competition for athletes with physical disabilities. Cassidhe began her career in 2014 working in marketing and communications at UCO after completing a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management at Oklahoma State University. She earned a Master of Science in Sports Administration in 2021 from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Cassidhe is a graduate of Leadership UCO class 15 and Leadership Edmond Class 36. As part of the Leadership Edmond program, Cassidhe served as an intern on the board of Peaceful Family Oklahoma. She has served three terms as chairwoman of Edmond Young Professionals and serves on the Leadership Edmond Steering Committee.
Omar Zantouts’ practice focuses on probate, and trust administration. Omar earned his bachelor’s degree in Journalism and participated in various organizations on and off campus. Upon completing his undergraduate degree, Omar attended law school, where he earned his Juris Doctorate Degree. Having assisted multiple Fortune 500 oil and gas exploration companies, followed by experience in a privately held oil and gas company, Omar offers extensive knowledge in the energy industry to the clients and business he serves. Omar holds memberships with the American Association of Petroleum Landmen and Young Professionals in Energy and enjoys volunteering across the community. Omar and his wife Morgan have a daughter named London, and a son named Dash. Outside of the office he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, golfing, traveling, and attending sporting events
Maggie Murdock Nichols is a third generation Edmond resident, raising the fourth. Maggie has a background in nonprofit fundraising, strategic marketing, and event planning. She provides strategic marketing consultation on a client basis and content development on a freelance basis. Maggie specializes in forming partnerships and creating an atmosphere for meaningful connections. Maggie is married to David and has two daughters, Corrie, and Merritt. Her family enjoy visiting parks, local businesses, and restaurants – preferably by bike. Maggie is a co-founder of the Middle of the Road Dinner, which held its first successful event benefiting Edmond Mobile Meals in October
