Honoring Terri’s Legacy  – “In a world where you can be anything, be kind.”

Day of Giving, September 19 2022

This September 19 we are honoring the memory of our dear friend and Assistant Director, Terri Horton. Terri began volunteering at Edmond Mobile Meals in 2014. She delivered a route of meals every week, and then became our Assistant Director in 2016. 

We lost Terri in 2021, and to honor her legacy to our mission we have created Terri’s Day of Giving to be held each year on her birthday, September 19.  On this day of giving, we ask for donations to the Terri Horton Memorial Fund for the Edmond Mobile Meals Endowment Fund. The Edmond Mobile Meals Endowment fund is a permanent source of income that provides sustainability to our program. Gifts made to the Endowment fund have a lifetime impact allowing Edmond Mobile Meals to serve Edmond’s most vulnerable residents for decades to come. 

Terri was a bright light to all who knew her.
